CmpE 523          Term Paper                 Due: 23 December 2003 (-25% for each late day)

Your term paper will be a survey on the topic you choose and has to be prepared by surveying the related books, conference proceedings, journals and all electronic resources on the Internet which will be cited and included in the reference section of your paper. You should read and cite at least 6 different papers. No indirect citation or references are allowed. Do not cut and paste everything you find on the Internet. Your paper do not have to be very long. I prefer 6 pages (not counting an optional cover) of your writing with 12 pt fonts, single line spacing, 2.5 cm margins, nonexagerrated paragraph separations to 50 pages of somebodyelse’s text. You will also have to prepare a 12 minutes long presentation with the aid of transparencies and an overhead projector and be ready for a 3 minutes long questions session on the date announced later.
